A little girl seems to be staring into the distance towards a crowded row of apartment buildings that appear to have been built right atop the shanties that are part of her own reality. The buildings themselves look strangely unstable thanks to lens distortion.

The view through the window grill, her unsteady stance and the skewed perspective of the buildings come together to paint an unsettling picture of the temporary world that migrant labour camps are… here today, gone tomorrow.
