LEAP OF FAITH

“I don’t know
what lies unseen,
over the edge,
in that grass.

We may make it,
or we may not.
But
we have to jump.

I don’t want
to be here again,
wondering
what it would be like,
if we had.

Wondering
why we hadn’t.

Open your eyes
and jump.”

And that is my answer to the question, “What did one red ant say to the other as they perched on the edge of a dry leaf fallen on the ground?” Look closely at how their antennae touch to see how/why I came up with that story :-)

And here’s something I read: The total biomass of all the ants on Earth is roughly equal to the total biomass of all the people on Earth. That makes it around 1.5 million of them for every one of us. How’s that for these little fellows here? InsignificANT? Not!
